Single event of the official half marathon distance of 21.1km. Runners will head anti-clockwise around the Tan from Kings Domain, then onto the Main Yarra Trail from the Swan St bridge until the turnaround point before returning to the start/finish line. Traffic management will be setup on Alexandra Ave where runners will cross the road at the pedestrian crossing to enter the Main Yarra Trail. Please note the trail will be open to the public during the running of the event.

Venue, Date & Time

Sunday 20th October 2024
Start and finish at Kings Domain near the Sydney Myer Music Bowl (See map below for running route). Event to start at 0730hrs. Competitors are requested to be at the start line by 0700hrs for a briefing and pre-race preparations/registrations.

After completing an anti-clockwise lap of the Tan track, competitors return to start/finish line turnaround and run clockwise on Tan track back to the pedestrian crossing at Alexandra Avenue crossing over Swan Street Bridge. Runners turn left after the bridge and follow the trail until they reach the turnaround point at Bridge Road just passed the Melbourne Girls Grammar.
Runners now follow the same route back via the trail once again crossing Swan Street Bridge and across Alexandra Avenue. Runners now turn right and return anti-clockwise on the Tan track to the finish line at Kings Domain.


Public toilet facilities available along the course.

Special Instructions

There will be drink stations available at the start/finish line, the turn-around point, and at other spots along the course. There are also public drinks fountains along the route. 
Runners may bring their own drink bottles and have them at the start/finish line where they can be accessed during the run. Sharing of drink bottles is not permitted.

Teams & Individual Events

You are now required to enter and pay online for both individual and team events i.e. payment is now required for both individual and team events.
