Description

The 2025 Victoria Police and Emergency Services Games Dodgeball Event will be conducted in conjunction with Melbourne Dodgeball League.

Join us for an action-packed afternoon of ducking, dodging, and diving at our upcoming dodgeball tournament! Played 6-a-side, dodgeball is a fast-paced, team-based sport where players aim to eliminate the opposition by throwing foam balls while dodging incoming throws themselves. It's a mix of agility, teamwork, and pure chaos — in the best way possible.

The main objective in dodgeball is to eliminate all members of the opposing team by throwing the ball at them. Players must dodge the ball to remain in the game and the team who manages to eliminate all of their opponent’s first are deemed the winners.

This is a mixed sport. Teams must consist of 6–8 players, with a minimum of 2 female players required on each team.

We’ll be running a double elimination format — so every team gets at least two chances before bowing out. Most teams will be eliminated within the first 1–2 hours, with the top squads battling it out until the finals (Teams will play 2 x 15 minute games guaranteed... 5-6 games max.).
