A 2km ‘Open Water’ swim starting and finishing on the beach at Sandridge Beach Port Melbourne, adjacent to the Life Saving Victoria building.

Life Saving Victoria, 200 The Boulevarde, Port Melbourne (Melway 56 G3).
Wednesday 29nd March 2023 registration from 0830hrs, swim starts 0900hrs.

Facilities

Special Instructions

• Swim caps will be provided.
• Wetsuits may be worn.
• No fins, boards, snorkels, floatation gear or personal support teams.
• Event officials shall have the final authority to remove a competitor if the competitor is judged to be physically incapable of continuing the event without risk of injury. Please ensure that you have a suitable level of fitness for this event.

Water safety will be provided by Life Saving Victoria (LSV) and change facilities are available at LSV offices.
Medal Presentation will be held following the conclusion of the swim. Parking is available at Life Saving Victoria and at Sandridge Life Saving Club.
N.B. The event will be cancelled if the weather and water conditions are deemed to be unsafe by the Sports Co-ordinators.

Teams & Individual Events

You are now required to enter and pay online for both individual and team events i.e. payment is now required for both individual and team events.
