Single event of the official half marathon distance of 21.1km. Event to be held at the The Tan Track, starting at King George V Monument, Linlithgow Ave, Melbourne 3004.

Competitors can register for the Half Marathon event ($25 registration).
Please note a Half Marathon will be an out and back route along the Yarra River followed by a lap of the Tan to complete the required distance 21.195 km.

Venue, Date & Time
The Half Marathon event will be held on Sunday 15th November 2026 at The Tan Track, Lawn 7 (Kings Domain), King George V Monument, Linlithgow Ave.
Start and finish line adjacent to Lawn 7, Kings Domain. (See map below for running route).
More specific course instructions to be advised in due course on for all events.
The half marathon event will start at 0800hrs, followed by the 5km and 10km starting at 0830hrs. All competitors are requested to be at the start line by 0730hrs for a briefing and pre-race preparations/registrations.

Race instructions
Runners will start at the Kings Domain take a right and run clockwise along the tan track for approximately 750mtrs, turn left at the traffic lights crossing the Swan Street Bridge. Turn right at the end of the bridge and run along the Main Yarra Trail (aka Capital City Trail) until the turnaround point.
The turnaround point is approx. 8.7km from the start line. Proceed back along the same route returning over the Swan Street bridge. Turn right on the tan track and proceed anticlockwise back past the start/finish line. You now complete one lap of the tan track as per the 5km route returning to the start/finish line.
Facilities
Public toilet facilities available along the course.
Special Instructions
There will be drink stations available at the start/finish line, and at other spots along the course. There are also public drinks fountains along the route.
Runners may bring their own drink bottles and have them at the start/finish line where they can be accessed during the run. Sharing of drink bottles is not permitted.
