  • Description:

    Pickleball was introduced to the 2024 Victoria Police & Emergency Services Games as a Demonstration Sport, and it was quite successful so has now become a regular fixture. We will hold a full day of pickleball with each skill level competing in either the morning or afternoon sessions.

  • Venue, Date & Time:

    Venue: Queenscliff Pickleball Club, 118 Hesse Street Queenscliff, Victoria

    Date: Monday 6th October 2025.

    Event Information:
    Doubles Unisex (Skill Level 0-2.9) - Open - played in the morning.
    Doubles Unisex (Skill Level 3.0+) - Open - played in the afternoon.

    Time/s: 0830-1230 hours or 1230-1700. Competitors are asked to check-in at 0800 or 1200hrs respectively. 

    Reserve day – Due to inclement weather we have included Tuesday the 7th October as a reserve day and will give all registered participants 3 days’ notice if there is going to be a change.

  • Facilities:

    There are 8 outdoor Pickleball courts available. The facilities of the Clifton Spring Bowls Club will be available for competitors and friends and includes dining and bar facilities.

  • Special Instructions:

    Competitors are expected to have their own paddle(bat) however a limited number of paddles will be available for beginners.

    Note

    You simply enter the sport and respective skill level as an individual. Play will be conducted in round robin doubles format. Every game you play you will be matched with a different partner. Games will be played 1st to 15th. At the conclusion of every game your individual point score will be recorded and you will accumulate points throughout the tournament. At the end of play the individuals within each skill level who have amassed the highest number of points will be awarded gold, silver, bronze medals respectively.

    Play will be conducted in line with the Pickleball Australia rules.

     

    There will be 32 spots in both the AM and PM sessions and registrations will close once we reach that number or on 29 September. If we do not get the numbers required, we reserve the right to alter the playing format for the day.

  • Description:

    The Freshwater Event will be an ALL SPECIES (except for Carp, Eel and Catfish) fishing competition. The venue may change depending on rainfall and water levels and fish productivity; however we have more people fishing Eildon than previously.

    The Saltwater Event will be an ALL SPECIES (except for species listed in Rules) fishing competition.

    Saltwater Event is to be conducted on Wednesday 8th October 2025 at St. Helens Boat Ramp, North Geelong.
    Lines Down at 0700 hours.
    Lines Up at 1300 hours.
    Weigh-in at 1400 hours in car park at boat ramp.

    Freshwater Events is to be conducted on Saturday 11th October 2025 at Lake Eildon, Eildon Pondage and the Goulburn River.
    The Lions Club Rotunda, Riverside Drive, Eildon will be the weigh-in area.
    Lines Down at 0630 hours.
    Lines Up at 1230 hours.
    Weigh-in at 1330 hours at the Rotunda (New weighin procedure: Brag Mat & Photograph)
    Bank and Boat Fishing
    Categories for Bank and Boat Fishing in Individual and Team (Teams of four (4))

  • Facilities:

    The Lions Club Rotunda at Eildon is the Freshwater weigh-in venue.
    St Helen’s boat ramp, North Geelong is the Saltwater weigh-in venue.
    BBQ facilities and toilets are available at both venues. BYO: refreshments to both events.

  • Special Instructions:

    Competitors MUST supply their own boat for all Boat events, along with fishing gear and bait.
    Personal Watercraft (PWC) is now included as a boat.

    FRESHWATER: NEW WEIGHIN PROCEDURE:  All fish are to be recorded and photographed by the angler.  Brag mat and camera essential for recording ALL fish as they can be returned to the water. You are allowed to keep your fish.
    Length/weight ratio charts and brag mat code will be sent with the Freshwater Rules.

    SALTWATER: Weighin using scales with fish presented as caught.

    Rules will be E-mailed to all competitors. Please include your E-mail address on all entry forms.

    NOTE:  IF THE SALTWATER EVENT IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF BAD WEATHER ON THE WEDNESDAY, IT WILL BE HELD ON THE FOLLOWING DAY AT THE SAME VENUE AND TIMES (I.E. THURSDAY 9th OCTOBER 2025).

    IF CANCELLED ON THURSDAY 9th OCTOBER IT WILL NOT BE RE-HELD.

  • Description:

    Competition will be conducted under ABA Rules. Equipment needs to comply with ABA, FITA or IFAA equipment rules – we will be shooting a 20 Target ABA (3 arrow & 1 arrow) round. Should this change, competitors will be notified at the earliest opportunity.

    All shooters to supply their own gear and must be physically capable of completing the event.

    Venue:   State Sport Centres (MSAC) – 30 Aughties Dr, Albert Park.
    Time/s: 09:30 - 1530 hours.
    Competitors must arrive no later than 0900 hours

    Toilets and Café are available at MSAC .

    Parking costs are the responsibility of the competitor.

    Saturday and Sunday: 7.00am – 8.00pm
    Public Holidays: 7.00am – 8.00pm

  • Special Instructions:

    Competitors are to supply their own racquets and wear the appropriate court attire.
    Shuttles will be provided. All participants will need to show their agency ID on arrival to the badminton courts.
    We are pleased to have the support of Badminton Victoria for this event as they will assist with the coordination of the event on the day.
