Description
Touch football is a variety of rugby where tackling players is replaced by a touch. This means it is a great sport with a lowered risk of injury. The sport is popular because it is easy to learn and so we invite all ranges of abilities from the absolute beginner to the most advanced players to join in.
The competition is a mixed round-robin format and the top four teams will play off in the medal games.
Venue, Date and Time
Bruce Comben Reserve, Central Avenue, Altona Meadows. The competition will be held on Saturday 21st March 2020 commencing at 9.00 am and concluding at approximately 3.00pm.

Facilities
Toilets are available on site. Please bring any food or refreshments that you require throughout the competition. There are nearby shops however no food will be available for purchase at the fields.
Special Instructions
Touch footballs will be provided for the competition. Teams need to register by 8.30am for 9.00am start. Each player will need a shirt with an easily identifiable number on the back.
Teams
Teams are made up of 6 players per side.
Due to lower numbers of female participants, teams require only two females on the field at any time. A try scored by males and females this year will be worth one point.
Reserves are recommended due to the fast pace of the game. There is a maximum of 14 players per team.
Other Information
Referees will be provided for each game. All referees are sanctioned by the Victorian Touch Association.
