This year’s event will be run as a cross country enduro lasting 3 hours. The race will be at Eumeralla Scout Camp in Anglesea. The course will be rideable, wet or dry and is suitable for everyone from the experienced through to novices. Competitors will have exclusive use of this track for the Games, and family and friends are encouraged to attend and watch the event.
Although this event is advertised as a race we welcome eligible emergency services workers simply wishing to participate and ride in a safe and controlled environment.
There will also be the annual Tony Branchflower Challenge Perpetual Trophy awarded to the winner of the interagency tandem tag along pursuit, participation will be via gold coin donation and this event will be held in the intermission before presentations. Bicycles for this race will be provided.
Teams Three Hour Relay
The teams three hour relay will be run concurrently to the cross country race. Individual competitors should enter the team three hour division and report to race registration on race day with their team mates. Teams may consist of two or three riders. There are no age divisions for the team relay.
Venue, Date and Time
The Cross Country Mountain Bike Race will be held on Friday 23 March at Eumeralla Scout Camp, Anglesea. The race will kick off in the morning (i.e. around 1000hrs).
Toilets and parking are available.
Detailed ‘rider information’ will be sent to all entrants within 2-4 weeks of the event. Further information can be obtained by simply ringing one of the Sports Co-ordinators. Note: catering arrangements will be detailed as part of the ‘rider information’ email.
