Description
Duathlon
This event will consist of a 2.5km run, followed by a 10km Ergo ride, followed by another 2.5km run.
Run Leg: The course includes 6 laps of the Athletics track
Bike Leg (Ergo): Bike Type Life Fitness IC7, 10km, competitors to cycle at resistance and rpm at their choice. (Competitors will have the opportunity to compete bike fit
prior to start of this leg)
Each leg is run separately and it is not a continuous race. The time of each leg will be added together to get a total time and result.
Triathlon
This event will consist of a 500m swim, followed by a 10km Ergo ride, followed by a 4km run.
Swim Leg: 10 laps of the swimming pool (no dive entry)
Bike Leg (Ergo): Bike Type Life Fitness IC7, 10km, competitors to cycle at resistance and rpm at their choice. (Competitors will have the opportunity to compete bike fit prior to start of this leg)
Run Leg: The course includes 10 laps of the Athletics track

Competitors can only choose to compete in either Duathlon or Triathlon (not both).
When entering the Triathlon Teams event, each team must consist of 3 members. A team captain/manager must create the team entry online and invite their other members to join.
Registrations for all events will be subject to venue capacity.
Venue, Date and Time
Date: Thursday 19th March 2020. Please note this is the day before the official opening date of the Games.
Venue: Victoria Police Academy, View Mount Rd, Glen Waverly. Participants to enter via Gate D only. Any visitors accompanying the competitors must provide their names to the Coordinators prior to event day so they can be granted access.
Time: 1600hrs – 1900hrs with food and drink provided at the conclusion. Please make sure you enter the Academy with plenty of time to get ready.

Mixed teams will consist of 3 members with both genders represented.

Other Information
Presentation will occur 15 minutes after last competitor has finished event.
The Charlie Grieve Memorial Trophy will be contested by the Police Recruit Squads across the Duathlon and Triathlon events. The squad with the most bonus points at the end will be deemed the winner.
